Delivery Policy

How and when we deliver your Countryside Pets order. We ship across mainland Great Britain via Royal Mail, DPD, and Parcel Force, with free local delivery within 5 miles of Bidford-on-Avon.

1. Order Processing

We process orders Monday to Friday (excluding UK public holidays). Orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours of being placed.

Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be processed and dispatched on the following Monday.

2. Delivery Methods & Timescales

We use trusted UK carriers to deliver your order. The carrier assigned to your order depends on your location, parcel size, and weight.

Royal Mail

Estimated delivery 2–3 working days from dispatch. Used for smaller parcels.

DPD

Estimated delivery 1–2 working days from dispatch, with live tracking and a 1-hour delivery window notification.

Parcel Force

Used for heavier and bulkier items. Estimated delivery 2–3 working days from dispatch.

Please note: All delivery timescales are estimates. During exceptionally busy periods delivery may take longer. We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates when circumstances beyond our control arise.

3. Delivery Charges

Free Local Delivery

We offer free delivery within 5 miles of Bidford-on-Avon for orders placed through our website. For local deliveries arranged outside the online system, we aim to deliver the same business day and will confirm delivery details and any costs before dispatch.

Standard & Large Item Shipping

For orders over 30kg, the following additional shipping charges apply:

4. Geographic Coverage

We deliver to addresses throughout mainland Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales). We are not currently able to deliver to:

  • Northern Ireland
  • The Channel Islands
  • The Isle of Man
  • Addresses outside the United Kingdom

5. Failed Deliveries & Missing Orders

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our carrier will leave a calling card with instructions for re-delivery or collection from a local depot. It is your responsibility to rearrange delivery or collect the parcel within the carrier's stated time window.

If you have not received your order within 7 working days of your dispatch confirmation email, please contact us at info@countrysidepets.co.uk and we will investigate on your behalf.
